Enjoyed your back and forth with Gotlieb on the radio a couple of weeks ago about steroids in baseball. Do you think the reason why pitchers are having better year and hitters aren't is b/c of the lack of greenies in baseball?

I've argued that the pitcher renaissance this year and even in the last few is a function of advances in player development ... that is, we've stopped blowing out teenaged arms in A-ball by throwing them 200 innings a calendar year.
