All the other award results made sense, but now it's like we've entered another world. Either that, or Jayson Stark spoiled all of our ballots.

NoTimeBeforeTime (Barry Bruner), Monday, 9 October 2006 22:56 (nineteen years ago)

THIS OCTOBER YANKEES ARE TURBOCHARGED

Andy_K (Andy_K), Monday, 9 October 2006 22:57 (nineteen years ago)

Why? Jeter was #1 in VORP or some such thing. I mean, I didn't vote for him, but I get the logic of doing so.

polyphonic (polyphonic), Monday, 9 October 2006 22:57 (nineteen years ago)

that was xpost, btw.

polyphonic (polyphonic), Monday, 9 October 2006 22:57 (nineteen years ago)

I had a fantasy team with four out of the top 5 (no Ortiz) and I DIDN'T EVEN FINISH IN THE DAMN MONEY.

milo z (mlp), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 00:48 (nineteen years ago)

I DIDN'T VOTE

OMG I'M PART OF THE PROBLEM

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 00:56 (nineteen years ago)

Wow. This was not how I envisioned this one.

Thermo Thinwall (Thermo Thinwall), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 04:20 (nineteen years ago)

Pronk better be Hafner.

If you voted for Morneau, I don't wanna know.

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 12:09 (nineteen years ago)

lofton007: How did you get the nickname "Pronk"?

Travis Hafner: It was last Spring Training. Bill Selby kind of came up with it. Some called me "donkey," some called me "project" and it got shortened up to "Pronk."
