Haha... at the game I went to Huff hit a triple and looked like he was in cardiac arrest. This is kinda funny, let me dig up this article from the other night.

I'm very happy with the Padres offseason but honestly they have no chance of competing this year. Losing Gonzalez is brutal but losing an innings eater like Garland will be tough on the bullpen. The young guys are not going to be pitching deep into games very often. I think they could compete in 2012 though.

I'd take the under on the projections for Huff and Pandoval (whose comps are Ryan Zimmerman and Ron Santo??). Starting 5 look good but if theres any injuries they could be fucked. Sergio noRomo looks good here too..
