POSTSEASON ODDS!!

Jimmy The Mod Awaits The Return Of His Beloved, Saturday, 31 March 2007 15:56 (nineteen years ago)

Looks like the Cards will recover well from their midseason forfeits.

My predictions, which are about as important as nothing, here.

Dimension 5ive, Sunday, 1 April 2007 20:05 (nineteen years ago)

wtf lol etc @ the Mariners!

The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall, Sunday, 1 April 2007 20:45 (nineteen years ago)

I know right? But the other teams have a lot of holes and I think a lot of M's will break out this year. Like I said: PROBABLY NOT!

Dimension 5ive, Sunday, 1 April 2007 20:55 (nineteen years ago)

No offense D5 but Stark is with you on the last team standing, so it will not happen that way.

Andy K, Monday, 2 April 2007 00:37 (nineteen years ago)

awwwwww crummcakes

Dimension 5ive, Monday, 2 April 2007 00:47 (nineteen years ago)

I'm a little amazed at Arizona as the consensus pick in the West, playing that many kids.

Dr Morbius, Monday, 2 April 2007 13:15 (nineteen years ago)

but they are all good kids! plus LA and SF have very significant drawbacks and the Padres are over-reliant on Gileseses

Dimension 5ive, Monday, 2 April 2007 15:12 (nineteen years ago)

but it's hard to count on them all playing up to expecs in the same year.

Dr Morbius, Monday, 2 April 2007 15:20 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah, I think the D-Back consensus has more to do w/ the weaknesses and frailties of everyone else in the division. That they're relying on Randy Johnson & kids is a bit suspect, but they're probably in the least leaky boat of anyone in the West.

David R., Monday, 2 April 2007 15:41 (nineteen years ago)

Dave I hv the Mets tix. r u getting my ILXmails?

Dr Morbius, Monday, 2 April 2007 15:42 (nineteen years ago)

What are you two saying? This crazy "computer" language lol.

Dimension 5ive, Monday, 2 April 2007 15:59 (nineteen years ago)

deadline Friday midnight for this and HACKING MASS!

Dr Morbius, Thursday, 5 April 2007 21:32 (nineteen years ago)

four months pass...

maybe the goddamn Prospectus homepage shouldn't say "Predictatron updated 3/29" if they've been running the standings all YEAR! Pinheads. At least I was saved 4 months of checking...

Anyway, I'm tied for about 376th. Picking the Nats with 58 wins as my NL Mortal Lock is killing me.

Dr Morbius, Friday, 17 August 2007 13:13 (eighteen years ago)

Dmitri Young = party pooper.*

*Probably literally.

Dimension 5ive, Friday, 17 August 2007 16:08 (eighteen years ago)

I have soared into the top 250 thx to a few unlikely winning streaks (ie Giants). I've got a shot to win the whole thing if Washington loses all their remaining games.

Dr Morbius, Tuesday, 28 August 2007 15:27 (eighteen years ago)

So you've got a decent shot.

The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall, Tuesday, 28 August 2007 16:22 (eighteen years ago)

Every day a better one! The Nats just keep losing, stuck on 58 wins. Whenever Washington and Seattle lose, I move up (tied for 194th now) ...only 13 points behind Dimension5 now.

Dr Morbius, Thursday, 30 August 2007 13:26 (eighteen years ago)

wow it's a good thing you don't involve yourself in the lowly depths of fantasy baseball dr. morbius

Steve Shasta, Thursday, 30 August 2007 17:00 (eighteen years ago)

three weeks pass...

I'm getting killed down the stretch thanks to teams like Colorado and Arizona. A few weeks ago I was ranked around #170 with only four or five teams costing me ten or more points, now I've got half of baseball in double digits:

NoTimeBeforeTime, Tuesday, 25 September 2007 08:54 (eighteen years ago)

I'm also sinking like a stone, goddamn Nats, Twins, A's etc.

Dr Morbius, Tuesday, 25 September 2007 13:24 (eighteen years ago)

also, Steve Shasta, this thing is about predicting the fortunes of real TEAMS, which is what baseball is all about, Charlie Brown.

Dr Morbius, Tuesday, 25 September 2007 13:25 (eighteen years ago)

So? Fantasy baseball is about predicting the fortunes of real PLAYERS. And Predictatron is in the "fantasy" section of BP.

NoTimeBeforeTime, Tuesday, 25 September 2007 14:01 (eighteen years ago)

Just let him cling to it, Barry.
