obviously it's only six innings over two starts in low-a, but this is 19yo dylan bundy's line as a pro: 6 ip, 0 r, 0 h, 0 bb, 12 k.
strasburg did shit like this, but strasburg wasn't straight out of high school. i haven't heard whether bundy features the dreaded inverted w or not.

bundy is still raping the minors
Forty batters have stepped in to face Dylan Bundy this season. Not one has gotten a hit.Bundy, his legend growing with each pitch, struck out six over a career-high four innings on Tuesday, dueling with fellow 2011 first-rounder Matt Barnes in Class A Delmarva's 4-2 win over Greenville

http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/04/30/reds-prospect-billy-hamilton-is-the-fastest-man-in-baseball/
Hamilton has played 23 games at high Single-A and he’s stolen 29 bases. Seriously, he has 29 steals in 23 games. Oh, and he’s also hitting .398 with a 1.072 OPS. Hamilton is on pace to swipe 182 bases at an 83 percent clip, which is beyond absurd. And for his pro career he now has 194 steals in 270 games.

Are there any independent league teams that date back past '93? I was trying to figure out the longest continuously running indy team and can't find anything beyond the St. Paul Saints and a couple of others in '93.
― Kiarostami bag (milo z), Tuesday, 1 May 2012 01:14 (thirteen years ago)
the el paso diablos have been continuously running since '73, but have only been independent since 2005. other than that, i don't think so

Baltimore Orioles minor leaguer Dylan Bundy's incredible season-opening hitless streak ended Monday night, when he allowed a first-inning single in the Delmarva Shorebirds' game with the Asheville Tourists.
South Atlantic League hitters were 0-for-39 with a walk against Bundy before Asheville center fielder Delta Cleary Jr. lined a base hit to left field leading off Monday's game. Cleary was promptly erased on a line-drive double play.

the red sox's first-round pick last year, uconn pitcher matt barnes, has made five professional appearances. these are his numbers:
26.2 IP, 1 R, 12 H, 4 BB, 42 K
the handful of balls put in play have been overwhelmingly on the ground. and needless to say, the one run was let in by a reliever. he's already been promoted to high-a.
― mookieproof, Tuesday, 1 May 2012 23:27 (thirteen years ago)
quickly returning to the lone hit allowed by bundy, if it was going to be to anyone, i'm glad it was to a guy named delta cleary, jr.

BROOKLYN 9, STATE COLLEGE 2:
LJ Mazzilli went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBIs in the victory. State College had taken the lead in the third in bizarre fashion. Steven Ramos bunted down the first-base line. Starting pitcher Carlos Valdez threw to first and Ramos was called safe. Alex Sanchez thought Ramos was out and went to throw the ball around the infield. His throw went into left field and Ramos broke for second. Left fielder Jonathan Clark retrieved the ball but overthrew Mazzilli covering second. As the ball headed toward the Cyclones dugout, Ramos started toward third. He then noticed nobody was covering home and headed for the plate. Eddie Rohan came up with the ball after it caromed off the front of the dugout and raced home, but Ramos narrowly beat him, giving the Spikes a 1-0 lead. The official scoring: a bunt single and two Cyclones errors.
