You must be very annoying to out-annoy Dane Cook.

Andy K, Tuesday, 9 October 2007 01:00 (seventeen years ago)

frank caliendo is looking good in that department.

gr8080, Tuesday, 9 October 2007 01:03 (seventeen years ago)

i vote frank tv.

omar little, Tuesday, 9 October 2007 01:04 (seventeen years ago)

The sonic commercials suck but those guys do a live improv show in Chicago that is A+++

gr8080, Tuesday, 9 October 2007 01:05 (seventeen years ago)

And the Sonic guys are awesome.

The thing that makes me weep about the fucking Mellencap song is that it made its debut last year during the playoffs AND IT WONT FUCKING DIE.

omg, jolly corpulent black man pulls Miller out of too-tony nightclub = pernicious bullshit

Dr Morbius, Friday, 12 October 2007 13:40 (seventeen years ago)

I mean as if that restaurant would serve High Life to begin with.

I giggled a bit when Caliendo's GWB said that Saturday was for western wear, and then I hated myself for it on principle.

Jordan Sargent, Friday, 12 October 2007 18:30 (seventeen years ago)

that frank tv guy is an impressive mimic but judging from the commercials there doesnt seem to be anything funny or good abt him

Dane Cook, because he would get assaulted by slam poets in the parking lot with a tire iron after delivering those crap lines.

Michael F Gill, Sunday, 14 October 2007 04:02 (seventeen years ago)

miller masala's pretty bad, but not as annoying as dane cook. who isn't as annoying as "the captain" dudes. that shit must be stopped.

clooney is my favorite, of course. and i kinda like frank.

Mr. Que, Wednesday, 17 October 2007 01:21 (seventeen years ago)

the one High Life commercial when dude gets up on stage and yells "AAA!!" into the mic is pretty fucking funny though.

Stormy Davis, Wednesday, 17 October 2007 01:44 (seventeen years ago)

"Frank" was initially driving me fucking nuts, but it looks like they've toned it down a little now, Thank god.

so yeah, it'd have to be "THERE'S ONLY ONE OCTOBER" douche. Not to be all "I don't even own a TV" but honestly until I read this thread I had no idea who Dane Cook even was .. it was just one of those names i'd read. I just assumed the guy on the commercials was some douche who needed to comb his hair. but yeah he needs to die.

Stormy Davis, Wednesday, 17 October 2007 01:48 (seventeen years ago)

also quickly rising up the hatred scale: black dude from the Washington Mutual commercials who brainwashes children into being good little future car drivers.

am i bad person if i kinda like the bon jovi song?

mizzell, Monday, 6 October 2008 19:34 (sixteen years ago)

The Bon Jovi song is really not too bad, especially compared to something like "Have a Nice Day." As much as I'd love to listen to Flying Lotus coming out of the break, I'll take Bon Jovi over some shitty nu-rock band.

Frank TV is like one of the sketches on Mad TV that really, really don't work, spread laboriously over a half-hour. The commercials are much funnier than the sketches, and the commercials are awful.

Anyone here who doesn't have a DVR should really think about getting one. I've had one for about a month, and there is something really satisfying about skipping commercials during a sporting event.

polyphonic, Monday, 6 October 2008 20:16 (sixteen years ago)

It made watching last night's Sox / Angels tilt about 500 times easier (esp. wrt skipping over Chipper's spirited play-by-play).
