considering all the moves these two teams have made, it seems like an interesting debate.

Angels seem to get a lot of talent out of their minor leagues.

yeah i'm leaning towards the angels. i'd also project them to be in a bit of a weaker division.

I havent looked at the Angels system recently but theyve graduated alot of players and traded alot away. Dodgers are in a similar boat but have been reloading hard these past few months with international signings and pulling up a dump truck full of money to Yasuel Puig's agent's house.

Sickels had the Angels at 18 and the Dodgers at 20 before the season started

They are both kind of pickem, slight edge over all to NL West but I think top 3 are better in AL West this year.

Texas=SF (Rangers lean hitting/SF got pitching - both got dough)
A's=Dbacks (young talent - Dbacks got a bit more salary to spend.)
M's=Rockies (one team can't hit/one team can't pitch)
Astros=Padres (dumpster fire/burnt young forest)

Hard to tell without seeing what the Dodgers do in free agency. If they're really willing to put out a $260mn-plus payroll, shit's gonna get interesting.

people keep talking about the Dodgers new TV deal but being vague - if the Angels are getting $3bn over 20, what are the Dodgers expecting?

Yeah the Latos haul is starting to add up. I think SD needs to move in the fences a bit at that cave though.
