I live in between a pair of American Association independent teams, and can buy a ten-pack of good tickets for the price of a carton of cigarettes.
new team: Grand Prairie AirHogs http://www.airhogsbaseball.com/images/stories/logo.jpg pros: dig the logo, new stadium, even cheaper than the other team, next door to a top-shelf horse racing track cons: expansion team lol, Grand Prairie is kind of the armpit of North Texas
old team: Fort Worth Cats http://www.airhogsbaseball.com/images/stories/logo.jpg pros: newish stadium, if you want to ignore the 40-year period with no team there's history dating back to the turn of the century, Ft. Worth >>>>>> GP, back to back AA champions cons: no real logo, just the name in baseball-team script (see image above), a ten-pack might cost a carton and a half instead, being within walking distance of the Stockyards is not exactly a draw for me

Yes, just the cats. The city franchise was the Panthers back in the day, and that became the Cats.
I am taking the advice of counsel and supporting the AirHogs.
