pitching: ERA, WHIP, K/BB, K, W, shut outs, complete games, saves, holds & hit batters

how about strikeouts or fielding %?

i'd rather keep fielding % - i know it's kind of a flawed stat but it's an important part of the game that's normally overlooked in these things. if you can think of a better way to reward having players who actually take to the field and hold their own out there - i'm totally open to suggestions.

MEMEME! Not a big fan of CS, since it offsets going for a SB guy and includes pick-offs.

hahaha, I will never be accused of neglecting my team. I micromanage that shit something fierce. (Egg timer widget every day to go off just before the 7:00 EDT games to see if there are last minute mistakes tweaks that need to be made.)

d00dz -- is there any reason I should hang onto Volquez? I'm busting at the seams with SPs, EV has been giving one good start for every two bad ones lately, plus I want to get my K/BB up and my BBs down.

If you drop him someone will pick him up, but young pitchers do tend to hit a wall at this point of the season, and it's not like the Reds are going to win a lot of games.

Oi, and I have like 1 closer left, and he's Brian "SMiLE"/"1.42 WHIP this year" Wilson. God, my bullpen has been absolutely brutal. Marte shipped to AL, duly lit up. I picked up Guerrier, duly lit up. Dumped both those jabronies for Durbinator and Russ Springer, and while the latter has been ok, the Durbinator in his first two actions for me promptly throw up 3 runs in 2.2 innings, with 3 walks and 3 hits allowed. And oh yeah, I can't really give up on Putz because maybe just maybe he'll get himself right and be a real closer again.

But enough about me. Thermo, you want to work out a waiver wire trade?
