Believe the hype! Couldn't make today's game but got tickets for Thursday.

I was curious what Gooden/Strawberry did for the Mets on Opening Day '86, and how they might compare to Strasburg/Harper today:

Things are getting kind of tense on this team. Ian Desmond and then Davey Johnson ripped Harper a new hole for not running hard on a routine fly-out.

Nats-Braves beanball war has gotten weird.

Strasberg and Davey Johnson have been tossed, btw. I figured after Jupton was hit earlier in the game and both sides warned, that would be the end of it. But Washington may have been playing for blood, as Stras was definitely going for Fucking Andrelton -- 3 consecutive wild pitches, including two behind him.

One of which scored a run! Strasburg's reaction was like, "Ehhh, well...don't really care at this point, so..." Bizarre.
