i wouldn't but there don't seem to be any female posters making arguments aimless & morbs were making? matt's was an extremely unchill post but i understand his frustration with the tone & way in which they were talking about it. tbf aimless posts the same way about everything so it's not exactly a huge transgression that he made an analogy b/w rape culture and laws in ancient athens, taken in the context of his, like, 19th century social theorist persona.

What got me was him doing it in response to posts talking about serious topics that were obviously troubling the poster. The minor disses are magnified because they trivialize the OPs situation, which is not cool imo.

Don’t think jeering at people’s personal posts should be the board’s problem tbh. It’s one thing to get into arguments about music or politics. This is just a drunk repeatedly showing up in threads to make loud snoring noises at people. Recall him being a prick in TV threads and the MLB playoffs thread in similar ways as well.
