i wouldn't but there don't seem to be any female posters making arguments aimless & morbs were making? matt's was an extremely unchill post but i understand his frustration with the tone & way in which they were talking about it. tbf aimless posts the same way about everything so it's not exactly a huge transgression that he made an analogy b/w rape culture and laws in ancient athens, taken in the context of his, like, 19th century social theorist persona.

I held off FPing beamish13 for a while as it seemed they'd finally moved past their worst tendencies. like frequently talking about how it was ridiculous how people weren't in the streets protesting when they personally protested by leaving the country entirely. which is fine, I don't judge anybody for doing that, but ridiculous to then criticize the public reaction in the country you just left when you yourself didn't do it.
