i wouldn't but there don't seem to be any female posters making arguments aimless & morbs were making? matt's was an extremely unchill post but i understand his frustration with the tone & way in which they were talking about it. tbf aimless posts the same way about everything so it's not exactly a huge transgression that he made an analogy b/w rape culture and laws in ancient athens, taken in the context of his, like, 19th century social theorist persona.

yes the entire world is in a prolonged state of crisis and none of us individually have the ability to fix it, it fucking sucks. it sucks when people you care about are suffering and dying and a lot of people are suffering and dying right now. once we get to a point where we're actually able to heal rather than just survive a lot of shit is gonna hit and it's gonna hit hard. right now, well, when someone cares about dies, my reaction is just "that sucks, i liked them". it's the same principle when an ilx poster i feel sympathetic towards starts saying and doing fucked up shit and (rightly) gets banned for it.

Re: censorship. Whether that's what's happening or not isn't something I am going to spend a lot of energy on. However its happening there is a lack of information and analysis and I am going to go somewhere else to fill that gap. That means either knowing more or being taken in often or losing it eventually, or its already happened. Not saying its a great route.
