For those of you who don't know check this out. Aka and McRae have a National Radio program now, with talkback etc. Started last Monday on NIRS, pretty good too.

I remember how Lawrence got to Brisbane in the first place.

Old man Lawrence (Barry I think) was named on the bench for a QAFL club, despite a) being in his mid-late 40s b) not having played football for nearly 20 years and c) being massively overweight, so young Steven could be named by the Bears on the technicality of his father having 'played' a senior match for a QAFL club, even though nobody even saw Baz at the ground the team was playing at that day.

(It nearly killed the father-son rule with one blow, and if dicknead Gordon had tried it on a couple of years later when there was a new AFL admin in with a name to make for itself, it would have. Which would have meant Jonathan Brown, for instance, would now be playing anywhere.)

All to get a bloke who, two clubs now know, wasn't worth 1% of the trouble he turned out to be.

A talkback show with Aker? ROTFLMFAO!! You wouldn't get a word in!! You'd be about as successful as Jase's recent trolling efforts ha ha.

As I remember Craig McCraig (as the dreaded Tim Webster used to call him) is/was a primary school teacher.

Which would make him an ideal 'minder' and straight man for the Akster.

JSA, not sure what the load is on Aker and Lawrence but clearly they are not mates.

Craig McRae is indeed a qualified primary school teacher and at the club renown for his humour and practical jokes, but is indeed a good foil for Aker and his mouth!

Funnily enough REB the first 2 minutes of the opening show was total silence, someone forgot to push the right button! lol

I'd guess Aker is just reflecting a general majority view this time. I'd be surprised if Lawrence has enough mates left in the AFL to fill out a standard AFL interchange bench. He has shown himself time and time again to be a complete dickhead (and unlike Aker, a dickhead who's a menace to himself and others).

Getting shot of him has turned Fraser Gehrig (as an example) from a once-was-promising hack with a bad haircut into a potential ton-a-season full forward....in what seems like five minutes.
