New-look 'Talking Footy': Good, Bad and Ugly?

Good: David Parkin, the fact that Tim Watson's calling the shots (and Hutchy ain't), the Coach's Award.

Bad: Too many guests, the whole show seemed rushed. The set: too slick and 'corporate'. I think they missed giving us the Tribunal verdicts. A couple of teams and matches weren't mentioned at all.

Ugly: the Rex and Mal segment, the Pricey bit (although Steve's spot isn't a bad concept and might improve).

Steve Price? I have only seen or heard about 30 seconds of his work - he is a right hickdead as far as I am concerned.

I'll stay even further away from talking footy now...

Haven't seen the show yet, recorded it 'cause as usual it's on at 12.30am in Brisvegas. Hope to have a quiet look tonight inbetween study!

I'll have a look next week Fred as I'm in the same boat as Lucy, it's on very late up here. Can't stand Steve Price though.

Had a watch lastnight, have to agree too many people on getting rushed through, but this may improve. The 'face off' segment with Rex Hunt and Mal Brown plus the 'PriceCheck' reminded me of poor take offs of the Kick Keka to Kanberra segment which was a spoof of Ask Sam Kekovich. Hopefully it will improve.

From my biased POV it was great to see Lethal being interviewed. And best of all NO MR ED!

I enjoyed Price's attack on Patrick Smith last night, his new hobby-horse is Essendon these days.Lol. When did he stop calling Grant Thomas 'Cornflakes'? When they started to win? What a farghead.
