he is, it goes without saying, excellent and a new non-diegetic ilx petster.

two months pass...

hiya mordy hope all’s well
(noticed you’ve gone non-diegetic lately, but it’s too soon for milk carton i think)
(hope it’s just temporary but def don’t blame/ question anyone who takes break or leave from ilx)

anyway, in event of yr return, submit a request for update on reggie

i've started watching Prisoners of War, the Israeli series that Homeland is based on, and one of the kids wears a Lynyrd Skynyrd t-shirt. He has invited his former POW uncle to his bar mitzvah to give you an idea of his age. Is this a popular fashion item for Israeli youth?

idk if ppl aren't badly misreading NA upthread, iirc was he not closely linked to erstwhile ilxor a puppy

Mordy you still haven't answered my question about Israeli youth fashion!

sarahell, Wednesday, 9 September 2015 19:23 (nine years ago)

oh i don't know! i have more expertise on the topic of american high school students circa 1998 who visit israel and came back w/ hebrew language t-shirts for like coca cola and hard rock cafe

Mordy, Wednesday, 9 September 2015 19:26 (nine years ago)

going to hazard a guess that skynyrd would not be typical attire among israeli youth, unless perhaps they had recently been staying in a small exurban town in central calfornia for their deadbeat second cousin's wedding

nine months pass...

reggie somehow got about half a corn on the cob which can apparently be fatal. char took him to the vet last night and they did an x-ray and thought maybe they saw it but when they went to do an endoscopy (i don't want to talk about the cost) they couldn't find it and thought it must've passed into the lower intestine. so far since then (it's been about 24 hours) he has been eating and having normal movements (sorry, gross) but i'm upset bc we're just like waiting hoping that it won't turn out to be a problem bc then he'll need surgery and idk i feel like it's not that appropriate to spend this much money on a dog and so i'd rather not have to make that decision. :( so far tho he seems happy - mobile - no discomfort. so i'm hopeful.

Mordy, Saturday, 2 July 2016 01:57 (nine years ago)

after days of anxiety new x-rays show no obstructions and no surgery needed THANK GOD
