Who is Samantha Lane?

She obviously didn't see Danny Jacobs turn the ball over and over and over again last week. Fair enough he may have just had a shocker after a fairly good game in round 1 but gees to say his "impressive recent form" is a bit much.

Anyone know who her background? How long has she been in the business? Did she have last week off?

BTW REB ... just saw your comments on the Hawks (Hawthorn LOL from Feb 27) ... LOL is right :)

That is correct about Tim Lane.

I don't think she's related to Lois Lane, however. Or Penny Lane as immortalised by the Beatles.

Some unkind souls would say her old man is her most obviouis qualification for media work, although she was OK working with Francis Leach on the ABC's Sat morning show two seasons back.

Cheers Hawka. I've gone very quiet in recent days as far as bagging other clubs due to the general crummyness of the Catters. We'll play your mob out any form slump in Round Seven.
