Benno is the Collingwood supporter we have to have, to quote another Collingwood fan from years gone by. For a Pies fan, he's reasonable, so reasonable he even finds Eddie as hard to cop as the rest of us sometimes.

(Did Tim Webster and Mike Sheahan come from your factory? They're as wooden as they come....)

Heals - Fred is the Carlton supporter, and in this age of mutual respect, is a pretty good bloke for a Carlton supporter.

It may shock REB and others here, but I have something of a soft spot for the Cats - I loved going to Swans vs Cats matches at the SCG and seeing the Cats beat the Swans every time.

I don't mean to give Neville a hard time, it's just that Cats and Dogs don't get along.

I think Geelong FC is ace. My favourite player of all time is Billy and my current favourite is Will Slade. I was really angry when Yze hit him behind play. Yze is a dog.

I collect badges of the geelong players. I have heaps, including four different ones of Will. If anyone wants to trade please let me know. I also have heaps of Super Trumps cards to swap.

We are having an open day tomorrow. It is usually really ace as people come and see where we live and we get to talk to them and stuff.

Last year I made 5 new freinds.

Seeing as both those blokes are Healey it is slightly more likely Pat is related to Ian (although of course Ian is a victim of the Queensland educational system so who knows how his name's meant to be spelt).

I'll accede to your superior knowledge and admit I was only guessing. I never paid much attention. It was a crap show anyway, like most American situation 'comedies' of the period (or most other periods) it was about as funny as a train wreck.

Who is Ian Healy, Fred? Is he a Cats supporter? I'm confused with all these Healy's.

The Open Day was fun. We had 23 people come through our unit. I made sure my room was tidy, so I threw everything in the cupboard. I also made sure all my Cats posters were straight and I wore my Will Slade badge.

I made some friends including a new best friend. Her name is Tracy and she is the sister of one of the guys I live with. She was really pretty and liked all my Cats posters.

Ian Healy's a Queenslander who played cricket for Australia for about ten years.

He's the bloke I'd like least to sit in front of at the football, because he has the most annoying voice in Australia (except Rex Hunt of course).

I don't think he is a relative of mine, Fred. I don't know anyone in Queensland.

I just found out that Tracy spells her name Traci. I think Traci is more posh like celebrities.

I am pretty excited today because tomorrow Traci is coming to see her brother, so that means I'll get to see her too. Yeah!!!

I'm a little nervous, especially as some guys at work have been calling me Mr Studmuffin. That gets me angry, especially when they say all I want to do is kiss Traci. They are always teasing me because unlike them I have a girlfriend.

Anyway I'll have my fingers and legs crossed.

I don't have a problem with him Fred, just making an observation. In fact it's good to see REB is not the only CAT supporter in the world.

Speaking of which saw some of the Melbourne team are thinking of travelling down the Geelong road the night before, to take the strain out of travelling in the car for 1 hour!!!!! Obviously far too much Latte and cake!

Well, you don't get the stunning view of Footscray by night when travelling over the West gate Bridge if you travel by day. Makes sense.;-)

Yeah, that's the best view you can have of Footscray, by night.

But the view of the city you get looking out the back of the stand at Whitten Oval is probably the best you'll get from any venue in Melbourne (though I've yet to venture inside the Colon in daylight so there might be something better there).

Best view of Melb - Great Southern Stand now the members is down - watching the footy, overlooking the construction, withthe view up to the city... sensational.

I also like the view leaving the MG - The Dome is just next door :)

Very clever REB. Mind you I think the best view is from any stand when your teams just won the GF. I've seen if from the Ponting (? the one they've pulled down after Essendon and Collingwood lost) Stand, the Olympic Stand and another one I dont remember the name of!

I'm tipping your Pies to win this weekend, don't know how but St Kilda's stocks are depleted and they've just returned from the West. As we know in the past couple of season, only the Lions have come back from the West and won the following week. This should test their metal!

Sorry Benno but Gorlla Girl's been on the grape juice. Yes the Saints are depleted but so are the Pies. No chance mon ami.

Well the Grape Juice while a little sour when it came to my tipping results (so far - not expecting them to get much better!) theafter taste was sweet to the tastebuds seeing Collingwood get thrashed yet again!

Well, Traci broke up with me on Friday night. She said I had taken things the wrong way and that she was not interested in me romantically. She said she was been nice to me because I live with her brother.

I can't say it didn't hurt to hear that, as it did. I thought we had something special. As I said to some people at work, I think it might take me a while to get over Traci. I did agree to be her special friend so at least that's something.

Dating is too hard I think I am better of sticking with the Cats and Will Slade.
