Protected species! He plays for Eddiewood after all!

Go easy jase - Liccas contact was less "bad" than Rick Ladsons on the weekend, and they both got off...

Fletcher cops one suspension a year because he does one a year.

I still reckon getting suspended for a instinctive move that doesn't injure the opposition is harsh - if contact is deliberate or has a malicious outcome, no worries, suspend the bloke. But if a guy has been wrong footed, is in mid air, and the contact is negligable, give a free kick and don't waste the tribunals time.

all im after benno is consistency, i reckon if burgoyne had kneed that richmond bloke as hard as he could at worst he would have had a corky, licuria gets his bloke in the wrong spot then he breaks his leg, so 1 get 2 and the other gets off, very hard to follow.

If you are looking for consistency I highly recommend 'Uncle Toby's' Porridge, lovely on a cold winter morning if not undercooked. However, if it is consistency you are seeking the last place you should look is the AFL tribunal.

I've been writing to them for comedy ideas because they are the biggest joke of all time. You never know, greatness could await...

REB, I am currently trying this brand of porridge but I always get the raw oat taste no matter how long I cook it for. What's the secret?

My suggestion Chrisso is try toast instead!

Cooking advice on a footy forum?

Ah well - good enough for 'League Teams' I suppose.

Fred Nerk (Fred Nerk), Thursday, 3 June 2004 23:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Susso,

cook your porridge slowly and don't add too much water. Pour some milk and honey into your brew. Keep cooking your oats with a low flame and wait until it starts to 'Roturua' on you (i.e. Bubble and pop LOL). The milk adds a creamy taste and aids with consistency.

Remember, cook slowly and be patient. No surprise that a Cat fan can cook porridge and the Bomber fan can't ha ha.

regards,

Jamie..LOL

Whereas a lot af Magpie fans are used to having their porridge cooked for them and having to line up for it....sorry Benno.

Fred Nerk (Fred Nerk), Friday, 4 June 2004 01:57 (twenty-one years ago)

REB, you're a champ, I'll put your advice to use in the morn.:-)

A hearty LOL@Fred, not far from the truth methinks.

Personally I prefer anything I haven't had to cook!

So has Tarrant been cleared yet?

Lucy Lion (Lucy Lion), Thursday, 10 June 2004 04:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Ahhh, the Porridge line...

Now I know where it came from!

Bennö (Bennö), Thursday, 10 June 2004 05:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Can someone explain to me why Luke Hodge gets one week for a targetted, vicious looking attack neck/head high and Fevola gets two weeks for something that looked incidental and reckless but not intentional?

Hodge was reported by the Umpire on the day, wasn't Fevola reported by the Video Umpire/ Doesn't Hodge have previous form?

Very strange, very inconsistent. If I was a Carlton supporter I'd be furious.

Lucy Lion (Lucy Lion), Tuesday, 22 June 2004 21:46 (twenty-one years ago)

surely you jest LL, fevola wacked brown in the side of teh face and knocked him out, lucky to get 2 IMO.

Since when was a coathanger reportable??

jsa, Tuesday, 22 June 2004 21:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Fevola should take the two weeks and shut up, light sentence IMO.

AFL seems to have lost the plot completely. How precious is this...
