Well no one else seems to be game to start so I will, following my 8 from 8 last week here are my Round 17's

St Kilda v Essendon - Bombers to bully their way to a win with or without Hird
Kangaroos v Hawthorn - Hawthorn - they have absolutely nothing to lose
Fremantle v Sydney - Freo close but home advantage
Brisbane v Adelaide - Brisbane I hope it's a flogging but wouldn't be surprised if the Crows show some spirit
Western Bulldogs v Collingwood - doggies due a win they have been knocking at the door for a couple of weeks
Port Adelaide v West Coast - I think West Coast have a good chance but in the end home advantage should see Port win - JUST
Geelong v Carlton - Sorry REB but I see Carlton getting two in a row
Richmond v Melbourne - Melbourne - easy

Sainters. Bombers are shite and the selection of Hird reeks of desperation.

Kangas. Because they DO have something to lose.

Freo. I think. Could be tough to shut a side down at Subi. Try kicking some goals Swannies..that might work.

Brisbane. Will spank the Cows.

Bulldogs. No Rocca, No Tarrant and No Wakelin. If the Dogs can't win this then there is hope yet for the Tigers and Hawks.

Port. By plenty. Gorilla girl, you are on drugs. Port is the only side that can challenge the Lie-Ins this year if they can get rid of the monkey off their back.

Cats. Carlton? You're kidding aren't you? Campo won't have a free reign this week. They'll look up and see the names Ablett and King and think 'hang on' where were these blokes last time'? Catters with a point to prove.

Melbourne. Easy.

regards,

REB

Saints. Bombers are flat track bullies
Kangaroos. A win to keep the dream alive.
Freo. Way to go. You can't flood Subiaco...
Brisbane. Because they will win another premiership this year. And the calls to remove the salary cap advantages will go unheeded. again...
Pies. Kids playing for places, and fringe players playing for careers, either with the Pies or trade bait...
Port. 2nd best team in the comp. wonder if they have worked out September yet?
Cats. Going great guns, loss of Riccardi will see this a lot closer than the ladder suggests.
Melbourne. No Rivers, no Davey. Time for last years failures to take the step up...

REB I"m more concerned about the fact your CATS are too close on the ladder! So either way.

Mind you the 8 from 8 last week certainly push me up the ladder in our tipping comp so another week of 8 would certainly put the Lions in amongst the chickens!!! :!

ok guys before i sign off, ill give u the round whatever tips and then the finals forecast.

St Kilda v Essendon - For ports sake i hope essendon win, but chrisso u have to face facts your side is a mob of hacks.
Kangaroos v Hawforn - Kangaroos easily, hawforn to fold,
Fremantle v Sydney - who cares
Brisbane v Adelaide - Hoping the crows, but would love to see the salary cap cheats absolutely smash the crows, who are doing oh so well under there new coach, bwhahahaha neil craig bwhahahaahah
Western Bulldogs v Collingwood - Doggies easily, any side that has o'bree in it cant be much chop
Port Adelaide v West Coast - West coast are a bunch of sheilas and will get bashed and crashed, and head off home like cry babies
Geelong v Carlton - Geelong in a spitful clash, with big beeny to strike fear into carlton, and nicko might even get a hardball.
Richmond v Melbourne - Richmond to finish bottom

Premiers - port to beat brisbane, after being 5 goals down at halftime, run away with a 5 goal win, pickett to stitch up the scott mongrels and the drug baron at full forward.

Kane Cornes to win the brownlow, go the 250/1

Over and out, its been fun.

St Kilda v Essendon - Saints to flog the pretenders
Kangaroos v Hawthorn - Hawthorn 'nuff said
Fremantle v Sydney - I agree LL, Freo in a close one
Brisbane v Adelaide - Brisbane will flog them LL, don't worry.
Western Bulldogs v Collingwood - WB in another match that doesn't matter
Port Adelaide v West Coast - Port will win comfortably
Geelong v Carlton - Cats to flog 'em
Richmond v Melbourne - Melbourne by six goals

Hawka (hawka), Friday, 23 July 2004 07:58 (twenty-one years ago)

St K - by approx 35 points, with Gehrig and Reiwoldt dominating!

Kangs - they're playing Hawthorn

Freo - toss the coin

Bris - Addledville are playing out the season

Collingwood - surely to God????

Port - too consistent

Geelong - though they'd want their minds on the job in their least 'big' game for a while

Melbourne - notwithstanding my earlier comment re Hawthorn, the ladder is still flattering Richmond

(Seeyalater and bestaluck Jase - you've livened the forum up no end. Drop in sometime if you can.)
