I'm not sure on this one Lucy, I think this is a BIG risk.

I know for sure they wanted to give him at least another two weeks, but that was with the other two boys doing such a good job.

Big Bird (Big Bird), Thursday, 29 July 2004 23:10 (twenty-one years ago)

Have faith BB.(and hope!) He would have played the seconds this week anyway. McLaren is really going to have to lift, more second efforts will be required by him.

Go the Swannies...

You're just shitty REB because I've jinxed your boys by picking them to win this weekend.

Damn you I say, the Bears/Lions will prevail!! :)

Damn you I say, the Bears/Lions will prevail!! :)

If they don't, LL, they shouldn't be in this league.

Then again, they're probably in a league of their own anyhow.

The Catters are safe, Chimp Chick. Mike Geehan has picked the Saints, not sure about Robert KnoWalls.

Well Crackers was good for the time he was on! The jumpers looked great (I think they should be our away strip)! Swans deserved the win they played very very well.

Thanks to Chrisso and REB for getting your boys up which keeps us at the business end of the ladder!

Still proud of my Lions and looking forward to Sunday's game at the Gabba.

Go Lions!

Is there a pictorial history of the Bears jumpers? I swear I recall something about a map of Qld and a koalas head on one of them???

Bennö (Bennö), Monday, 2 August 2004 02:34 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah you did Benno and it was the original, original jumper (pretty yucky!) Quite glad they chose the one they did which I think looked great.

I just hope next years heritage round is in Brisbane so they can wear it in front of a home crowd! Sitting in amongst the Swanny supporters was not a very fabulous experience!

Lucy Lion (Lucy Lion), Monday, 2 August 2004 03:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Any chance of wearing that jumper during the finals Chimp Chick. LOL.
