Malthouse to walk away?

Rumour going around town at the moment is that Mick Malthouse will not be coaching at Collingwood next year.

I can not possibly see him being sacked, so I would have to say that he is going to "mutually" walk away. Decision will come in the next couple of months.

Anyone else heard this?

I heard he had cancer 18 months ago.

I hope your wrong Chrisso, that would be awful. Don't like Collingwood or Mr Ed and not very fond of Malthouse but never wish that on anyone.

He doesn't have cancer, Lucy, it was just a rumour, which was the point I was trying to make.

Isn't the Internet wonderful? For 200 years people who wanted to spread bullsh1t had to rely on the Combine Harvester....

Oh! Well in that case ....

And I heard that Tarrant was doing things to someone elses wife.

Yet again, a great big load of bollocks - easy to put two plus two together and getting 5, especially with the stories of Rocket Eade joining the coaching panel in 2005...

I have noticed, from frequent TV shots into the coaching boxes, that a lot of the coaches do not do the talking on the phone lately(exception on Sat night with Roos and Laidley) and leave that to the hired help while they concentrate on the moves.

Is that going to be Rodney Eades job at Collingwood?

Mick's Mouthpiece - could be useful when they lose. I can just see Mick on TV. "F@%c*&! Rocket. I said 'C Cloke on not T Cloke'. That's the real reason we lost"

Spot on, Westy. Mick really picked up some bad habits in his time with the E-Girls. A few more years in Melbourne should eventually cleanse his soul.

Rocket was a successful coach at the Swans, and if interested in taking a demotion to an assistant/2nd Teir senior coach, would be of great tactical advantage to the Pies.

Has there been any news on if he signed?

Chrisso

You seem to have a real problem with the Eagles and Dockers. Not a Vic V WA thing is it?

You really should have a Bex and a lie down. May do wonders for you.

Not a Vic V WA thing is it?

Firstly, I'm a New South Welsham. Secondly, I wouldn't mention W.A sides even 10% as much as, say, Lucy mentions Collingwood or Fred mentions Sheedy, so I'm not really sure what you're on about with the 'real problem scenario'. Westy, I just enjoy the fact that the E-Girls and the Dickers have been ordinary for a long time now. No need for a Bex, pass the champers, old bean! Lol.
