Apparently Eade is now favored (if that's the correct word) for the Hawks job.

Be interesting to see how he sees the 'Scott issue'. Rodney was the Hawthorn player D.D. thumped in his last playing season in 1980, on the field during play, for not kicking the ball to him. Apparently a bondary umpire saw it and would certainly have reported Scott if Eade had been an opposition player, and according to the rule book he could have anyway. The Laws state you can be reported for 'assaulting another player'.
