COLLINGWOOD - be interesting to see how the 'September Institution' (thanks Chrisso) cope with the shame of losing to Carlton and Collingwood in successive weeks

GEELONG - more consistent, playing at home

BRISBANE - Hawthorn at last playing with spirit but can't match up the Lions. And Dermie: The bloke in the other box said NO, OK?

MELBOURNE - before Sunday their form was better. Unsettled week at Sydney won't help

PORT - Bullies may yet keep the spoon

ADELAIDE - nice soft gig for 'Craig the Crow' in his first match officially as coach

ST KILDA - although still nowhere near their bast. Roos may surprise, especially if McKernan can put together two in a row

WEST COAST - hit a good run of form and Carlton rarely follow up their good efforts

Fred Nerk (Fred Nerk), Thursday, 12 August 2004 22:22 (twenty-one years ago)

COLLINGWOOD - although you can't trust Essendon to play the way you think they are going to
FREMANTLE - while Geelong are at home, I think they are due a loss
BRISBANE - Agree Hawthorn are playing much better, but off field drama's may stuff them up and yes Dermie with the 'do' The bloke in the other box said NO - 3 TIMES, OK?
SYDNEY - playing with passion
PORT - Doggies have too many injuries and too many out
ADELAIDE - who are they playing!
ST KILDA - rarified atmosphere
WEST COAST - playing well and back at home, not having the same trouble as the Dockers winning at Subi.

Lucy Lion (Lucy Lion), Thursday, 12 August 2004 23:08 (twenty-one years ago)

ESSENDON - Sheedy's gone feral so take note Bombers
GEELONG - Gorilla Girl tipped the Dockers, who without Bell won't appeal
BRISBANE - Hawks still celebrating
SYDNEY - To shut down the Demons, Swannies with Hall the right moves
PORT - They are playing the Bulldogs after all
ADELAIDE - Good at shutting down teams that rely on too few
ST KILDA - Goodas Domeass
WEST COAST - Carlton play two good ones in a row? Pffffffft!!

regards,

REB

ESSENDON - We have to win and we will win
GEELONG - a top four finish is the carrot that will propel them towards a very easy win
BRISBANE - Brisbane lose three in a row? Pigs arse!!
SYDNEY - a tough week will galvanise the the Swans
PORT - They are playing the Bulldogs after all
ADELAIDE - maybe
ST KILDA - hopefully, though it wouldn't surprise if the Roos got up.
CARLTON - because the E-Girls are shite and Worsfold is a closet cross-dresser

chrisso (chrisso), Friday, 13 August 2004 00:29 (twenty-one years ago)

CARLTON - because the E-Girls are shite and Worsfold is a closet cross-dresser

Maybe so Chrisso, but he looks fabulous in a frock!

Maybe so Chrisso, but he looks fabulous in a frock!

Now you're just copying Sumich.

chrisso (chrisso), Friday, 13 August 2004 01:29 (twenty-one years ago)

I reckon even I can kick straighter than Sumich!

Fri 13 Aug
MCG* Essendon v Collingwood, even Essendon shouldn't lose this, but you just don't know the way they are playing
Sat 14 Aug
SS Geelong v Fremantle, Geelong at home
MCG Hawthorn v Bris Lions, at least one person here has to tip the Hawks.
Mar* W Bulldogs v Port Adelaide - Can't see the doggies upsetting Port at the moment
TD* Melbourne v Sydney, Swans to show they are a semi-chance
Sun 15 Aug
FP Adelaide v Richmond, Adelaide to flog the Tigers and put them on the bottom
TD Kangaroos v St Kilda, Saints too strong in the controlled environment of the dome.
Sub West Coast v Carlton, West Coast easily in the west.

Hawka (hawka), Friday, 13 August 2004 05:20 (twenty-one years ago)

I am the greatest dickhead ever to walk this earth.

Les Kaybone, Sunday, 15 August 2004 08:56 (twenty-one years ago)

And the Pies insipid loss on Friday night costs me the round...

For 2005, we should create a comp at FootyTips.com.au - and find the real tipping gurus...

Bennö (Bennö), Monday, 16 August 2004 04:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Yep tipped Collingwood to win - silly me. But then again the Dockers let me down also.
