Brisbane - very close game (and I'll be there :)!)
Port - only just
Sydney - hardest to pick and I think it could go either way, but home ground advantage will probably see Sydney across the line - just
Essendon - seem to rise when it's needed

Bris v St K = Saints to reverse the result from a couple of weeks ago.
Melb v Ess = The Dees to finish off the Bombers season
Syd v WC = West Coast in extra time.
Port v Geel = Port memories .. must have a .... Cats to win by 3 goals.

BRIS - Neither side near full-strength but big-game experience will be telling

MELB - Not playing well but Demons have always lifted for finals

SYD - very difficult game to pick but home advantage may swing it

PORT - surely to God it can't happen again???

Brisbane at home, on their way to their 4th straight flag. Can anyone say "remove the salary cap concessions now before everyone south of Tweed Heads loses interest?"

Essendon. But neither team will trouble anyone next week

Sydney at home...

Port. Geelong better for the experience!

BRISBANE - I'm worried about the Brisbane forward structure without Lynch. I think Leppa has played better on Reiwoldt the more he has played him and I'm happy with Michael on the Gehrig. I think if Koschitzke plays on Brown the worst we can do there is a draw, if Kos plays forward we will have trouble matching up on him but Brown should beat Maguire if that's the case. Johnson on Guerra should be OK, may be even force the Saint to play some defense as Johnson runs down field. To me Bradshaw is hit or miss as a forward and plays much more consistantly down back. If really in trouble he goes on Reiwoldt (shudder!) and Leppa goes up forward.

Oh by the way its really really really hot today (23 degrees) which will worry the Saints in their motel!!!!! If they dare to come out before it cools down to 15 degrees around 11.30pm they should find the night cool with possible showers.

ESSENDON - Not convinced about the D's at all, however the only side in the eight they could beat at the moment would be Essendon so who knows.

WEST COAST - To me this is the easiest to pick of the weekend, Eagles in great form and Syndey do play a bad period of 20 - 30 minutes in all their games recently. Eagles too consistant and wil win well.

PORT - Really looking forward to this one but got to go with the Power, it will not happen for the third year in a row.
