REB, you talk about Brisbane's arrogance but never see the arrogance displayed by Port, esp C Cornes.

If Port learnt a bit of humility occasionally instead of trying to forever rub everyone's nose in it, they may gain a bit of respect.

Maybe, just maybe, you two are talking Tall Poppy.

The best team wins - if it's Brissy - they've created a bit of history. If it's Port - good on them. After three years being the best H&A side, they deserve it.

Of course it is TPS. That's why it's on the sour grapes thread. What exactly did Chad do to raise your ire Westy?

Bloody hell REB!

What would you rather the tripe all players are meant to dish out when asked a question by the media, they all say the same thing - OR - a player who answers the question with his opinion e.g. Akermanis. You're not satisfied with either!

As for the Matthews statement - pre game hype as were Bomber Thompsons.

Mind you I hope Bomber was just feeling a touched miffed when he said his players should not shake hands at the end of the game. Down right unsportsman like. One of the great things of this game is at the end of every game, no matter what's happened before the siren ends it. Once that siren has gone players shake hands and leave it on the field.

I happen to think (as do most that I've spoken to)Geelong played really well, that fact we won was good from out pov, but does not take away from how well Geelong played.

REB if Geelong bounce back as fast as you have (good on you!) then I'm sure they will be the force next year along with St Kilda.

I wonder if all this vitriol would be as loud and persistent if it was say Essendon or Richmond going for an attempt to win their fourth consecutive GF - or am I getting totally paranoid again.!

School yard bullies the Scott brothers. I wish it was one of them rather than that nice lad Shaun hart who had their head re-arranged. Unfortunately, that would never happen as they are too busy scragging to get a kick of make a brave attempt at a contest...

For the Kray brothers, its cheap hits off the ball, mouthing off at anyone in a top another colour to theirs and easy kicks running out of the back pockets...
