Collingwood drafted Nick Davis under the father-son rule, by all accounts against the will of either the father or the son. The same club had to bid for the services of all three Clokes in turn because old man Cloke played enough games for each of Collingwood and Richmond for both to qualify.
Seems a tad strange, the two-club man having greater leverage than the one-club man (I know Craig Davis actually played for four clubs, but he only played enough games to qualify at one of them) or did I miss some vital detail?
