Where is Doug when you need him?

They've got a Cup field running for the committee, owe the national debt of the US of A, forgetting to pay the taxman.

What's the real story or are things this bad?

Its all bad.
No money, little support, lots of tradition, but too many debts and self interested clowns trying to run the show...

What's the story Big Bird? I see Larrikin is shooting off his mouth again on the ABC site. Seems to me he's contradicted his own argument!

Any time anybody enlists the 'wisdom' of Dermott Brereton (The Smug Thug) to support their argument, they've thrown the sponge in.

Larrikin will soon tire of talking to himself.

Yep, another compelling argument from Larryboy.

""It's just not fair!!"

I saw Dermott argument the other day and he was quick to draw comparisons with the NFL, NHL, baseball and basketball and the so called eveness of their structures. As with many of these arguements the interesting bit is what he failed to mention, that new franchises in the NFL and the NBA get draft concessions, salary cap advantages and considerations in the draw.

He also did not mention that there is no salary cap in MLB and that more the half the League has salary package of less then half the top side and as a consequence fill out the bottom half of their division tables - year after year.

I personally think looking at Dermie's hairdo is enough to suggest he has about as much credibility as a blue rinse!
