I think the disinterest in the draft was measured by the lack of response here...

FWIW, I saw Monfries has gone to Essendon from Sturt - what I saw of him on Fox Footy suggests the Bombers have done very well
Why was Jesse Smith (Not Jnr Ross, the other one) not drafted? He seemed a gun when I saw him...

Congrats to Mark McGough for getting a 2nd chance. I didn't want to see you go, and wish you well...

On Saturday some idiot in the pub I'd dropped into to check the Test match wanted the tele turned over to the draft, and was unimpressed when the barman said it wasn't on. This bloke's mates offered to grab the phone book and read random names and numbers out of it, saying that would be no less entertaining.

(Which wasn't really fair of course. They'd have been looking in the book a long time to find a more entertaining name than 'Jarrod Roughhead'.)

Benno, I think McGough will probably prove to be another one that got away, personally I think he showed some promise.

As for your time at the pub Fred - how true!

McGough pfffft!! How can McGough be the one who got away? He's too bloody slow to get away from anyone.

We sent Maloney to the Devil to get another twist of the Tiger's tail while Benny took a punt with the Jets.

regards,

REB
