I think Collingwood might just surprise you this season. I think Collingwood can make the eight this year. Obviously you need Bucks to stand up but if he misses the early part of the year and the woods are say 2-2 or 3-3 then I think you can be a real chance of seeing some September action, with Buckley maybe having a bit more in the tank towards the end of the season.
For Collingwood to get back into the eight they really need to beat teams like Essendon, Sydney and Carlton...teams who might be squaring off for the lower rungs of the eight. Have a look at the changes made to the lists of those clubs..Essendon don't appear to have bolstered their list at all, Sydney are hoping David Spriggs and Darren Jolly aren't the lemons that Cat and Demon fans know they are and Carlton have seen fit to delist Jon McCormick, Callum Beasy and Darren Hulme.
Aside from Bucks Collingwood still has Fraser, Tarrant, Rocca, Licuria, Burns, Woewodin and has done well to get Caracella. So chin up you Woodsman....or are you just being a bit too sheepish in February? Either that or you can't see the Woods for the Trees.
regards,
REB

It Clement, Wakelin and Perry Como stay injury free, and kids like Richie Cole and others continue their improvement, it may not be all bad and sad.
Still reckon Didak and Lonie are softer than tissue paper - we need a couple of fast and brave midfielders (ie an 18 year olf Aka or Judd would be nice!)
