Father-son selections should use a draft pick the further down the list the better Dad was.

So Essendon, for instance, should be able to get a son of Tim Watson or Simon Madden or some other club legend with pick 100 if they still go down that far, or Geelong the whole brood of Abletts, but if a club wants to 'use' the system to get the prodigy son of a 53-game hack back pocket player (who may or may not have the same name as a wooden Australian actor) they should shell out their top pick.

Anyone who got 6 out of 8 in this round knows fugg all about footy :) My two year old leads the family tipping and he picked six on the weekend, he nearly got seven too because he was on the Hawks.

My question is this. Does Lucy use the same tipping method as my infant son...his method is simple..he picks the furriest emblem. A bit of a worry when the Pies play the Crows but so far he's got the goods LOL.

Yes Lucy that's fair enough - says more about my football knowledge than anything else. Up until last weekend I was still concerned about Brisbane ability to take the ball away from stoppages. But Keating and Dylan both played their best games of the year, that and the fact that both sides played in front of the ball all night. It was a great game to watch, flowing, high standard etc.

Plus I got to buy my eight year old a birthday present - one of the new jumpers, he's rapt.

Well, I picked the Cats, don't know about Chrisso though. I notice the Bird selected the Bombers which was a fine tip. I was so depressed about that Dogs game that I didn't even let rip with one of my patented wildly inaccuarate kiss of death big statements to sledge the Bird :)

I was going to select Carlton too but noticed that Gaspar was included (I figured they would be a bit short in the back half without him) so I plumped for the Tiges.
