Fancy Losing against the Blues

I was informed before the match against Carlton that Hawthorn had the most free kicks against them of any side so far this season. I knew then we were in trouble.

Has anyone else noticed that this year it is quite obvious that when a team is behind on the scoreboard they are being favoured by some umpires in getting more free kicks and less against.

I've only seen a handfull of games and to me, one umpire, McLaren I think his name is, would be on top of the list.

McLaren's up there with McBurney in my mind!

Unfortunately I didn't see the game but from what I've heard it was a goal at the end of the game to put them in front - is that right?

And all that without Fevola. Tipping hasn't started well this weekend!

Hawka blaming the umps. What a surprise!

James Hird and John Barker, bang go your chances already for the Dulcify Award for comprehensive lameness for Round 6.

You can't blame the umps Hawka. You guys overposses the football something shocking. More possessions equals more errors. And then you've got a three game 'superstar' who goes in one handed and tries the impossible on a regular basis. Despite the problems of Collingwood...the spoon looms.
