I'm hoping like hell they move the ANZAC Day match to Sydney next year. How good would that be!

How can you even contemplate such a suggestion.

I'm sure that you have read the recent newspaper articles with regard to Subiaco being renamed Anzac Field.

It's as obvious as the nose on your face that the Anzac Day match will be played at Subiaco before a crowd of 7,349.

No more taffic jams outside Ducklands, Vic Police to rest easy and catch the 84 y.o. crims playing 2-up and Andrew Dementia to trumpet his new intiative in spreading the game.

Eagles Vs Dockers Derby that weekend to be played at Ducklands to give the Vics a taste of top of the table footy.

Now that would be tops, I'd probably excuse myself from running the same 2 up ring i have run for 6 years to attend!

Now, can anyone help me out by assisting in my explaining to the wife I do love her, but me going to the Swans Pies match at Telstra Stadium on her birthday is not the actions of a bad husband???

No Benno, just let her know that you know it's only fair she has 'girl' time and giver her a Beauty treatment for her and her best girl friend... say 1 hour aromatherapy massage, facial, manicure, pedicure and even a full body wrap!

Just tell her how special she is and that her birthday is the time for her to celebrate the wonderfulness of her!!

If that doesn't work tell her she can spend the weekend shopping in the exclusive stores of Sydney!
