Stkilda - surely they have to bounce back, will never win a premiership until they dump grant as coach, clearly the worst coach in the AFL
Brisbane - becuase they win away and carlton are crap. In an article today carlton have a +45 freekick count, amazing when they have won 2 games, who says they arent protected.
Power - to easily account for the bulldogs and start a run to the grand final
Sydney - to flog the softies, what a side softmantle are 10 years of mediocrity and still going, what a wonderful advertisement for WA footy. Go there greatest win round 5 2005, bwhahahaahahaha
Geelong - in a canter, all the geelong red-headed hillbilly hicks will be heading down to the cattery in the back of their utes to watch this one, should be a decent crowd, perhaps the dumbest of all time but a good one none-the-less.
Richmond - one more win before the slide to resume there normal position of being on holidays in September
Melbourne - in a close one, i think collingwood are a better side without the log rocca, should be a good game

The West Coast sound; Minute by minute by minute we'll increase our lead (WHT The Doobie Brothers)Parsley, sage, Hawthorn and thyme; Remember me 'cause the Saint have no flare (Simon & Grant-funkle)Joe the Lion, went to the Dome, a couple of kicks and he was a fortune-teller ( David Brownie)The year of the Diamond Dogs, this ain't rock & roll, this is genocide(The Power play like its 1984)The Swans will be standing on a beach, with a gun in their hands, killing a Docker (The Cure)The Cats; with the missing Thompson Twin singing in the coaches box; "Don't fold now, oohh don't fold now....."I see a Richmond and their soul is painted black, I see dead ones and they are the kangaroos.... (Tigers 'cause Mick and Keithy says so)"We're on a Melbourne radio, Ooooo a Melbourne radio... (Neita and the boys to put a Wall of Voodoo around Collingwood)
My age is showing

Yeah, and a whole fat bloody heap of good it's doing us too!
That stat is more evidence that the free kick count sets new benchmarks for total irrelevance. 4 kicks over a full match - whooppee-bleedin'-do!!! Ben Cousins or any other leading midfielder knocks that off in ten minutes.
Just shows how lame whinging about the umps is. Studies show that the acceptable window for that sort of behaviour without sounding like a pathetic whinging moron is about 90 minutes after the match. (On talkback radio, make it ten seconds.) But I digress....
WEST COAST (36) - good Essendon sides struggle in Perth v very bad Eagles outfits, not that either is relevant here
BRISBANE - unless Jono Brown has an argument with a semi-trailer on the Tulla Freeway on the way in, and the semi may still wind up worse off
HAWTHORN - pure instinct, justifying it with 'logic' would be a wank
PORT - against instinct but I'm not sticking my neck out twice!
SYDNEY - the worst possible opposition for a team like Freo in their sort of trouble. Pillock and Dudd might have helped....
GEELONG - still say the Crow run can't last
RICHMOND - have made a bit of a special project of knocking off their usual tormentors. These days Roos heading nowhere very fast indeed
MELBOURNE - the most promising-looking 'Mount Hotham Chellenge Cup' match for some years

West Coast ... Girls are hip I really dig the way they move (Beach Boys)
Lions to finish off "Pagan's Baby" CCR with a little poetic license OR "Cheeky Monkey" Artificial Joy Club OR "You Don't have to be Pretty to Sing the Blues" Dave Hole or
Hawthorn .... Gold n Brown ... The Stranglers
Port - "Fairies Wear Boots" Black Sabbath
Swans - The demise of Freo with Joe Jackson's version of "What's the use of getting sober (when you gotta get drunk again)"
Geelong - "We The Cats (shall hep ya") Joe Jackson
Richmond - Kangaroos are "Living In the Past" Jethro Tull
Melbourne - "Demons & Wizards" Uriah Heep or for the Maggies "Cry Me A River" Joe Cocker
