Just want to know what your thoughts are about a web page that you could throw footy questions at and get a response straight away.
We have starting developing a page that will answer basic questions such as When was the last 10 times the Bulldogs kicked more than 120 pts against Carlton?, What is the Brisbane Lions highest score against each team? or What is each teams greatest lead at 3/4 time at the MCG?.
At the moment it may be a pedantic with how you ask some questions, but once we know how most people ask a question we should be able to get around it. It will never be 100%, but in the end it should be able to answer most questions.
At the moment it is just linked to basic VFL/AFL Scores data. The idea would be to add things such as Brownlow stats, goal kicking, games record holders etc.

For me, I would rather have the winner between WC and Melbourne this week than the number of "hardball gets" in the last 5 years by all players with surnames beginning with B.
And, by the way, what is a "hardball get"?
Some crock of shit dreamed up by a Robert Kno-Walls type pedantic dickhead commentator that needs to fill in another 15 seconds of broadcast time with irrellevance. Spare me from meaningless carp!!

Concept does sound good. Like Westener I too would like this weekend's results now!

As for who it is targeted against ... those that wish to mire themselves in meaningless statistics or those that just want a quick answer to a question rather than going through the millions of miscellaneous stats sites on the web.
Remember 47% of statistics are made up on the spot.
Thanks for your comments guys & gals
