The Geelong juggernaut is slowing down to almost a holt. Pretty weak effort in the end, i actually thought they had a chance. Should have realised they are terrible on the road.
Oh and they have a few injuries, welcome to the real world REB, sides like port and brisbane have had to put up with that for years and still been successful.

As for akermanis, back to his brilliant best, fantastic game, who knows maybe the power might play the lions again in the grand final

Is there a worse, most underacheiving and soft side in teh AFL, they need to get back to the form of there greatest win ever i think it was round 5, bwhahahaah greatest win, what a joke of a team. Soon as they mentioned that there greatest win was some poxy minor round game they were destined for mediocrity, bring in peel thunder

Wish I had posted this yesterday when I first thought that Reteif would be on the Forum giving it the works.

It's absolutely amazing the number of times that he bounces when the PAP win.

Have a look at the ladder, son. Your "team" have won as many as they have lost, they have allowed more scored against as for and have been beaten by the equal biggest margin of the year.

This is not a rabble Collingwood or Western Bullies or even useless Richmond that we are discussing. None other that the 2nd Pride of South Australia and Reigning Premiers.

It must be hell having to salvage some pride in order to justify running second to the Crows.

Im looking at the ladder Westy, and cant seem to find freo, oh there they are, that magnificent side, the powerhouse of the AFL, with that wonderful record. Are they the pride of the west or is it west coast, you know the side that hasnt won a final for 10 years?? oh sorry they won 2 premierships 10 years ago.

Put ya red nose back on, ya clown

Jeez JSA at least West Coast have won 2 in their short history - don't Port only have 1?

Lucy Lion (Lucy Lion), Monday, 20 June 2005 22:01 (twenty years ago)

Thanks lucy, but just to clarify a few things since we have been in the comp they have won nought premierships and nought finals.

And the 2 they won were 10 years ago. Its been a long rebuilding process

So, that has cleared it all up for me. History and tradition runs in 10 year cycles.

At this rate, Brisbane are 30%, Crows and Bombers 20%, Port, Carlton and Roos are 10% of the entire AFL tradition, seeing as though it only exists since PAP took centre stage.

jase, there is an old saying that goes something like the following - "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt"

I guess, if you have the time, that you should think about that and use it as a rule of thumb for life.

Did i say it runs in 10 year cycles for everyone?,only for the WA softies does it last 10 years. but mainly the 10 years refers to the last time you won a final.

You were the goose who mention you have 2 and we have 1 in previous messages, you sound so much like a crows supporter no in fact more like an oxygen deprived goose, i feel for the dockers having to listen to the we have 2 and you have none.

theres another saying Westy you cant argue with an idiot.

Sorry to disprove your theory, jase. Show me where I have pushed my team to anyone as a comparison as to which team is the best.

I take quiet pride in the Eagles being the first non Vic team to win a flag and more pride in winning two but I do not stick it up others to score points.

Go back and have a look at the GF posts from 2004 and you will see where I admitted I was wrong backing the Lions and congratulated Port on their win.

As anyone does, I like a sly dig and a good bit of banter about the games but I am not, I hope, vindictive.

Westy, what of those original 2 posts above that you highlighted do you disagree with??
