Trade Bait

I hear rumbling Chris and Brad Scott may be put up for trade bait! I hope sincerely this is wrong - I want them to stay with Brisbane until they retire.

It was said that Melbourne would be interested. Surely the Scotts have run their race Chimp Chick?

Channelling Jase: 'I'd prefer they were shark bait'.

Just watch, Collingwood will put up the No 2 and 5 draft picks for the thugs...

I'm devastated, the talk up here is that Brad Scott is to be delisted if they can't get a trade for him. I will be very disappointed with the Club if they do this to him, he has been one of the senior players to take hefty pay cuts in previous years to keep the side together for the benefit of the club, time the club paid back and gave him one more year. Canyou hear this Bowers, Matthews, Downie, give Brad one more year!

Lucy

He has had a brilliant career, if he's delisted he may get picked up Martin Pike style and pick up another premiership medal at a different club...

Its time for the Lions to rebuild, and time for their supporters to have a year or two of pain. You'll win another flag before Collingwood does!

Benno I know all that, but I hate seeing players delisted, shoved aside like a stale beer, when they've given such great loyalty to a club, taken huge pay cuts - I would much rather see him given another year to have a final hurrah! Touch different to Pikey who was having a lot of off field problems and needed saving from what I understand.

Rebuilding needs experience as well as youth, innovation and creativity. Premierships are a bonus not a guarantee so I'd be happier seeing my team play and respect and loyalty going both ways - between the players and the club.

As for a flag before Collingwood - did you have a year on that?
