Obviously Goldspink hasn't umpired a GF since before Brisbane's first. If he had, my guess is your views would be very different.

Rumours are one year Goldspink voted for himself as Norm Smith Medallist.

Mclaren and Goldspink cost Sydney the game when they played at Subiaco in the first round of the finals. They should not even be umpiring at AFL level anymore let alone the GF.
