This is probably fair enough and I have no problem with the suspension. But apparently Johno has been receiving racially abusive mail since the incident - that's not on.

Neither is decapitating an opponent on the field Lucy... especially when Captain of your country.

He's a bastard who would have got 12-18 weeks in Rugby League for that hit...

Luke Darcy, like all AFL players, has a reputation to manage as a hard-man who doesn't mind the rough stuff.

He's also got one eye on the technicalities of the dreaded 'Players Special Code' and doesn't want the AFL's Pirana Brothers to call round and nail his head to the coffee table. (Why does the AFL so often remind me of Monty Python?)

So his comments on this issue are devoid of merit or significance.
