The Footy show was at its best when 9 had no rights to the AFL. And I can't see the loss of the footy affecting Who Wants to Be a Mool-yunaire. So Eddie may be around on, just not on Friday night.

I truly hope Mr Commettis contract with 9 ends at the completion of the 06 home and away season...

Benno I believe all on-air contracts expire at the end of the current arrangement i.e. end of season 2006. Up here in Brisbane Eddie's Collingwood show is on very late on a Thursday night (and not worth watching from a Brisbane perspective), Footy on a Friday night is on only after 11.15pm and usually much later sometimes as late (early) as 5am the next morning!

Nine losing the rights is certainly a bonus for Brisbane because the worst case scenario I can think of is 7 and 10 on selling Friday night games to Foxtel which we don't even get know because 9 are far too mean and obviously more concerned about keeping Rugby at prime time.

As for Dermie I too would be very happy for him to stay with Eddie and Sam.

Sucked in Nine. No more Eddie Amin you bewdy. However, I won't be a happy camper if Scott, Landy and Robbo get a gig again. Dermie is finished as his special comments are not that special.
