REB selects...

MELBOURNE: Croad still not back, Crawford doubtfull and Melbourne on a bit of a roll. By about four goals I reckon.

ADELAIDE: By plenty. This one will get real ugly.

FREMANTLE: Without any confidence whatsover. Despite injuries and unpredictable form, I'm tipping them. Just don't ask me why.

GEELONG: Another toughie. Cats on paper looking good but plenty of players not match fit. Collingwood praised to the skies for losing by three goals against West Coast at Putriaco but we've been doing that for years. Pies to not come up with one day's less preparation. Get some money on the either team by under 15 option.

Sydney: Usually close games between these two but the Swannies have the know how to shut out the Dogs. Two trips in two weeks and the Port clash will prove to be poor preparation for the reigning premiers.

Brisbane: Port are an absolute rabble and Brisbane may have found something last week.

St Kilda: Not the usual 100 point belting of recent years but Saints still have the cattle and the desparation to overcome the Blues who are not without a chance in this one.

West Coast: Will defeat Essendon for the first time at the Domea55 as the artist formely known as Essendon will have trouble living up to the deeds of past combinations.

regards,

REB

MELBOURNE:Dees to sneak home.
ADELAIDE: How could you possibly tip Richmond?
FREMANTLE: This will be a close one
GEELONG: Collingwood have been to WA so that gives Geelong the slightest of edges.
Sydney: Rolling along
Brisbane: Tossed the coin, Brissie won.
St Kilda: by default
West Coast: This will be close. Essendon will fight like there is no tomorrow.

Demons-Hawks run out of hype 37 points
Crows-Terry Wallet will rue forever the "bring it on" comment
Dockers-will win at home
Cats-Pies have had their run of bottom of the ladder teams. Not good enough for the big league
Swannies-will stifle the Dogs
Port-I don't know why. Just suspect they will do it
Saints-Doubting Thomas to scrape home
Eagles-not close at all, and Bombers WILL fight like there is no tomorrow because there probably isn't(not this year anyway!!)

Melbourne by about 2 goals. Its a game they should win easy, so they will make it look hard.
Adelaide to declare at half time.
Roos with the 15 and a 1/2 start. Freo are duds, Roos season depends on tomorrow.
Collingwood by a point. Tarrant or Rocca to miss with injury, Bucks back, Geelong full strength - should be near enough a TD sellout.
Swans talls too good for Bulldogs smalls. SCG too small for a running game to dominate.
Port? They have already run out of chances.
Saints - carlton beat the second worst team in the comp last week.
Eagles - the best vs the worst. could be like watching a car accident.

Melbourne - I think. Barely.
Adelaide - They need not bother this week down at Punt Road.
Fremantle - GOOOO WEEEEEST
Collingwood - Geelong is way too unpredictable for me.
Sydney - Nothing witty to say, just a game.
Port - Both crap but at least Port are playing at Footy Park...not that it helped them much last week.
St. Kilda - Lightning can't strike twice :-(
West Coast - CHRIS JUDD CHRIS JUDD CHRIS JUDD 100 GAMES AND HE'S ALREADY THE GREATEST PLAYER IN THE HISTORY OF AUSTRALIAN RULES FOOTBALL. Don't expect any jacket waving of the red and black kind.

Fair enough - 60000 at the G would be a sellout at the Dome ;)

MELBOURNE:Just
ADELAIDE: Far too good
KANGAROOS: Freo even more unpredictable than Kangas
GEELONG: Collingwood have been to WA so that gives Geelong the slightest of edges - and I dont' wont them to win! :)
Sydney: Just
Brisbane: Because
Carlton- written off by everyone else
West Coast: This will be close - yeah only by 6 goals. Essendon will fight like there is no tomorrow.

MELBOURNE (31): On the roll Hawthorn were on a month ago

MOTN: If they keep up their current form I may have to stop calling them that. But the PFJ still fits the other crowd to a tee

ROOS: their worst is better

COLLINGWOOD: BUCKLEY SHOULD HAVE PLAYED!!!! Or at least flown over. If he can't walk off the plane, they took 27 players, play somebody else. If he runs out of steam thru jetlag or whatever halfway through the second quarter, there's four on the bench, send one of them on. If he pulls up sore after the game, lock him in the Fraser Brown room and let him sit out this week. At least they'll have some hard data to base the management program on if they find themselves in the same bind on Prelim Final week. Malthouse and co seemed more concerned with looking pro-active and making the Big Call than crossing bridges when they came to them. Like Hannibal Smith and the A Team, fellas, ten out of ten for macho but the big zero for smart. (I'm Fred Hinch.....)

SYDNEY: This counts as a Big Game now and the Sidneylanders have had more of them recently

PORT: Playing at home and absolutely on their last leg

ST KILDA: No Hudgton who Fev last year nominated as his least fave opponent, no Hamill to draw three tags and leave two team-mates unmanned (which only ever works v Carl, I wonder why), no Koderrynhinchski or any other ruckman, but Carlton will still find some way of ballsing this up

WEST COAST: lost to Collingwood in similar circs 12 months ago but it won't happen again. Essendon won't win the spoon, whoever loses Bris v Port will move into favoritism and the PFJ will slot in behind them
