Roos vs D's at Manuka this weekend in a battle of the bankrupts...

Sadly, Benno, you are right. I really can't see much future for the Roos, D's or Bulldogs, unless one of them relocates. They've all been on borrowed time, propped up by having excellent coaches in recent years, (and AFL handouts) but time's running out....

Yes, it's about money, but money comes from having supporters joining and turning up for games, which these clubs lack in spades. That's why Collingwood don't have a problem, at least they get bums on seats.

The bulldogs had a sell-out in Darwin a week or so back - but I can't imagine this weeks Roos/D's match getting anywhere near a sellout.

The Brumbies are on Saturday night - it will be the Canberra sporting public's No 1 priority (until they have a crap season and rugby gets relegated to its true position rather than the passing fad it is...)

Don't forget Chris S Talker that some of the bums at Collingwood games prefer to stand LOL.
