Why I Have Not Started Any Of My Threads

A Marcel Bénabou thread. Thirty pages into Dump This Book While You Still Can! and liking it a lot. I had to wait a decent interval after finishing Bartelby & Co by Vila-Latas- and had to put down Montano's Malady- before really starting this because they started to seem like the same book. In fact I probably should have waited until I finished DTBWYSC before I started the thread, but there you have it.

Jesus. I have only read the one book, the one the title refers to. Are any of the rest nonfiction? I would try them anyway maybe

I was very sad not to get to meet him in LA that one time!

As far as I know he only wrote three- the one I am reading is fiction, but the third one is a memoir, autobiography.

According to this article by Warren Motte, he originally wanted to call the third book One Always Writes the Same Book.

I guess he also wrote some scholarly treatise on Ancient Rome and Africa.

I started Why I Haven't Written Any of My Books a few weeks ago, but put it down. I'm sort of burned out on Oulipo stuff right now.
