Do you make notations on the contents pages of short story collections?

Inspired by ILM thread. I did this for the collected JG Ballard - underlined = TOP READ, scored through = NEVER AGAIN. Thinking of doing it for all my crappy scifi short story collections as there is some gold in them thar books but there's an awful lot of crap to sift through before you get to it.

I've written/made notes in short story collections when I've been studying them for the sake of craft, but I don't usually do it when I'm reading for enjoyment.

Not to say the two are mutually exclusive, but when I'm reading with the intent of study, I tend to write more in the margins.

I did it in poetry anthologies when I started reading poetry.
