I'm trying, but I fear it will not get any better!
In English the place to start would be the Ezra Pound translations that he worked up from the notes of Ernst Fennelosa (sp?). No doubt there is also some obscure academic material you could somehow dig up, but Noh has little or no following in the USA and I've never seen any mass market stuff besides the EP translations.

Yes, I've seen a bk of Ezra Pound's on Noh in a library, which I'll pick up next time I'm there.
What got me interested ws a couple of mentions that William Empson gave to Noh when discussing madness in Renaissance-era plays.
and AND there is Mishima, who wrote modern Noh plays.
