... especially, in my case anyhoo, when we can't remember who recommended the work. I am at the moment giving thanks for Algernon Blackwood's John Silence stories. Mwah!

Okay. Thanks to Jessa for pushing Lanark on her site. I don't think I liked it as quite as much as she does, but I still liked it and have since recommended it to others.

To MikeyG (not to be confused with his dark twin, MickeyG) for "Danziger's Travels: Beyond Forbidden Frontiers" - it's a lovely read MikeyG.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's always a pleasure to pass books onto people and have your own view of them confirmed!

If you wish to reciprocate with a book of your own, I'd be delighted to read it.

Ah, MikeyG, I feel most persons would find my reading lists tedious and pedestrian...

How about if I tell you my two favorite quirky (I found hilarious) reads, and let you decide to ignore them or seek them out? "The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove" and "The Bear Went Over the Mountain."

Thanks again for the rec on Danziger, it's well-written and a fascinating read...
