What an empty book. Did anyone like the story? Basically, it's about a beautiful 15-year-old babysitter out on Long Island. Children and dogs love her alike and an old painter wants to sleep with her. And that's about it. Nothing terribly exciting happens. It seems like the kind of book that people want to read when they don't want to have to think about anything.
