Does anyone else read Frederick Barthemle?

I ask this question because in Australia his work is hardly ever mentioned. This wouldn't be such a bad thing were it not for the fact that I think his stuff is fab. Has anyone read "The Brothers"? This is in my top 10. It's bad enough listening to M Amis drone on about his 2nd rate literary pedigree; but Frederick's career seems to have, if anything, suffered from being Don's bro.

I actually picked up one of his books the other day and flicked through, but I had thought it was Donald, not Frederick, and when this dawned on me the book began to suck for some reason, and I put it back.

Which one was it?

His stuff is pretty much nothing like Don's; don't know if it's like Stephen's.

Honestly, I forget - Moon Cafe or something like that? Here we go - 'Moon Deluxe'. It certainly is quite removed from Donald. Never heard of Stephen. It seems to be quite a common authorial name!

Stephen's another brother. And, would you believe, also teaches creative writing. To the best of my knowledge, he's published a collection of short stories (and didn't he co-author a book with Frederick ("Double Down"), relating to his and Fred's decision to use gamble their inheritance. I suppose I could look all this up on google but I just cannot be bothered.

Damn, I was thinking about that recently and hoping to post it as a question on the ILM trivia thread if I got a chance.
