The New York Times has an article on the #1 best selling black author: Donald Goines. Read it here.I'd never heard of him before. Has anyone read any of his work? What books of his would you recommend?

two weeks pass...
I read Goines Books in german. He writes about Ghettos, Blacks, Heroin and Policeviolence. Two white Men killed Donald and his Girlfriend Shirley at the 21.10.1974 with Shotguns in Detroit.
