I think there are more US than UK posters on here, but I'll give this a whirl anyway. We're meeting on week commencing Sunday 18th January (date to be confirmed) in central London (precise location to be confirmed). We're reading Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K Jerome and also discussing The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks.

If anyone is interested (and we could use some new brains), let me know and I will confirm the practicalities as soon as I find out when our regulars are free.

two weeks pass...
We're meeting on Wednesday 21st January. Still haven't decided on a pub but it'll be near the Thames (to tie in to the book) and pretty central. Will confirm shortly.

If anyone on here is interested, you're very welcome, but please let me know in advance. I expect a full turn out from the States.

The book is Three Men in a Boat and it's chuffing ace.

If you fancy interacting with real people, we're meeting next Wednesday at the Bankside pub near London Bridge. Start around 7pm. The book is 3 Men in a Boat by Jerome K Jerome.

We tend to drink a lot of wine.

If you fancy it let me know beforehand.

three men in a boat!! that's excellence!

also excellent: "three men on the bummel" by the same.

here are the three planning their european cycling tour:

"It can," said George. "We know Holland and the Rhine. Very well,
my suggestion is that we take the boat to Hamburg, see Berlin and
Dresden, and work our way to the Schwarzwald, through Nuremberg and
Stuttgart."

"There are some pretty bits in Mesopotamia, so I've been told,"
murmured Harris.
